Children will participate in art activities based around a storybook, artist, theme or artistic process to introduce the concepts of colour, texture, composition, technique and act as a source of inspiration. They will develop their fine motor skills and become familiar with art materials, all whilst developing their problem solving skills.

Children are encouraged to use their wonderful imaginations.

Art Lab after-school classes are 1hr long.

We work with a small group of children, ensuring that they all receive lots of support and guidance.

Classes are designed for children aged 5 to 11 years.

Art lab aim to nurture children’s creativity and curiosity through a programme of thoughtful, playful and engaging workshops, using a range of wonderful art materials, under the guidance of professional artist and arts practitioner Helen Muir.

Our classes run termly or half-termly depending on the needs of the school.

All art materials are provided and included in the price of the sessions. We ask that children sign up to the full course of workshops and is payable in full at the start of the course, no refunds will be offered if a child does not attend a session.
